most important and widely used computer tool currently used by landscape
architects. Cad systems create precise drawings not possible by traditional
hand methods. Calculations of areas and quantities of materials can be done
with much less effort. Perhaps the most valuable aspect of cad drawings
is the ease with which they can be modified. Drawings done by cad take significantly
less time to alter than previous methods and can be easily exported to other
digital formats. Cad drawings serve as the base for 3d modeling as well
