Landscape Architecture has been influenced by the rapidly advancing technology of computers. In the last few years computers have been able to offer more productive methods to accomplish work once done relatively slow by hand. CAD systems have been the most benefitial of the new tools available to landscape architects, allowing proffesional quality drafting with the ability to quickly and easily revise a drawing. Other tools such as photo editing, computer rendering and 3d modeling are being adopted slower but are adding significant new abilities for landscape architects to achieve their goals.
